Toshiba one of the world’s largest innovative companies of electronic device manufactures have come up with the brand new of CELL REGZA 3D LED TVs. The new 3D TVs, CELL REGZA 55X2, CELL REGZA Slim 55XE2 and CELL REGZA 46XE2 all has been designed with the “3D Super Resolution Technology” for upgrading the resolution of 3D content along with 2D-3D conversion. The primary goal of the 3D Super Resolution Technology is to upgrade the previous version of 2D and 3D to the latest version by providing of 960 image pixel of crystal clear display. The concept of the 3D super resolution is composed of two major parts. One is “Reproduction technology” which reproduce the image and looks for portion that needs more quality and improvement. The next one is “Self-congruency”, which fetches the images and restructures it with higher definition. Toshiba’s 2D- 3D conversion technology is mainly based on an advanced algorithm which works in converting the image by recognizing and detecting the vectors of movement of several objects in an image.
However the Toshiba Cell REGZA 55X2 and 55XE2 has also been developed with “High Luminance Mega LED panel” which helps in providing high definition picture quality. This works in a way in which the LED Block Array divides image pixel into 512 areas which provides high quality images which you have not witnessed before.
Toshiba claims that Slim 55XE2 and the 46XE2 will reach the Japan markets by October. They also said that the price of 55X2 will be 1,000,000 (US$11,400 approx), the 55XE2 at JPY700,000 (US$8,000 approx) and the 46XE2 at JPY600,000 (US$6,858 approx). All require Toshiba 3D glasses.
