A great notebook released by Hp this year with a great configuration.

HP Pavilion DV7T Review

It has the latest Intel Core i3/i5 series processors that replaces the old Core 2 Duo used in the last model. The screen has 17.3 inch and offers a resolution of 1600X900 px. It is also available with an edge-to-edge infinity glass to provide frameless look. A good thing added to the new model.

HP Pavilion DV7T Specs

A surprising thing at this laptop is the configuration taking into account the price. Besides the processor it comes with a Nvidia GeForce G105M of 512mb or GeForce GT320M 1GB dedicated graphics. The Ram memory is also big, up to 8GB of DDR3.It has dual hard drives or solid state drvie, the configuration offers maximum 1TB of space. Along with all of this you have a DVD-writer, Blu-Ray combo drive or Blu-Ray burner and optionally you can get a built-in HDTV Hybrid TV tuner.A great feture if you like watching TV in hd.

If you buy it on the HP’s online store you get other things with it like a microphone, Altec Lansing stereo speakers, WiFi,Ethernet LAN, optional Bluetooth, optional modem, HDMI output,5 in 1 media card reader.

The machine comes in two colors espresso black or moonlight white. If you prefer other colors you will have to get used to those two.

The battery life is quite good, when it is fully charged you have 4.7 hours of work time. The battery is a 8 cell battery type.

I was talking about the price.Yes considering the price and the specifications this is a cheep notebook with great features.I costs 799.99$ on the HP’s online store. It looks great for home use or business trips or projects.

Lenovo has finally launched IdeaPad Y 460, a laptop for home use with great specifications.

The design of this laptops is simple. In my opinion it has nothing special that jumps out right into your face. It comes in black as a basic color and many future models will have other colors too, but I’m not so sure.

The coolest thing about this machine is its specifications, that are great compared to other home-use laptops.

Lenovo IdeaPad Y460 Specifications

Testers say: “Ideapad Y460 may have keyboard issue at the up, down, left and right key or around that area. The issue is whenever I press that area, the feeling is like the keyboard never being put correctly and cause quite a noisy noise.”

Lenovo IdeaPad Y460 comes in two models:
– first powered Intel Core i5-520M with graphics 1GB of ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 and Intel GMA HD.
– second with powered Intel Core i3-330M processor with Intel GMA HD integrated video graphics card.

It’s for now just available just in Singapore, but soon it will be unfold to the market from $999 to $1,199.

Alienware M11x is Dells’ new gaming notebook.

Ok, why this product differs from the rest of the Alienwares? It is simple. Until now Dell’s Alienware team have built high tech notebooks for gaming, but their price were high off the limits. Their laptops were considered luxury pieces of technology.

Now the Alienware team changed the strategy. They managed to create a small notebook that can fit the small table of a plane, powerful enough to play the latest 3D games and most important, cheaper. Many gamers will prefer this notebook instead of other versions of gaming notebooks. The starting price is 800$, and it may seem expensive, but it is nothing compared to the starting price of 1200$ for a standard version of a gaming laptop.

Alienware M11X Review

Now let’s get on with the Alienware M11X review. It is a small notebook, as I said. It only weights 4,4lbs and has the dimensions of 11.25″ x 9.19″ x 1.29″. At a height of only 1.29” you will think that it is a thin device, but compared to some of Lenovo 6-cell battery or other laptops form Apple you will see that it is actually “bigger”.

The design is great. They kept the strange alien design. The thing that jumps into your sight is the lighting of the keyboard, that also gives it a strange out-of-space design. It has a led, shaped as an alien head, of which color can be changed by the user so it can alert you when the battery is low or when it runs connected to a cable. For example you can adjust it to red when it is plugged to an electricity cable and red when it runs on its own battery.

It has a 11.6″ WXGA WideHD LED Backlit display (1366×768) display. The contrast differs, depending on the angle of approach. The colors are great and you won’t have any problems playing games or browsing through the web even in the sunlight.

As I already told you about the keyboard design with the lighting. It looks great, but not only that it responds great also. You will hear minimum noise when typing. The keys are not big and not so small, they are just perfect for such a small device, and I think users won’t have problems typing or playing games using their keyboard. The touchpad has a nice surface when touched and it can be used easily.

Alienware M11X Specs

Digging into the laptop we find a 1.3GHz Intel SU4100 (800MHz FSB, 2MB Cache) processor and 4GB of DDR3 (2 X 2Gb). For the graphics this device has a Nvidia GeForce GT 335M Discrete Graphics (1GB GDDR3) with switchable Intel GMA 4500MHD integrated. Also you have 802.11b/g/n, 10/100 LAN and 3-in-1 card reader.

In the end I wanna tell you that this truly looks like a good device, specially for gamers, and I’m sure that many will rush down tot the stores and buy one as fast as they can. It is cheap, it looks great and I think that it is reliable.

Fujitsu Lifebook T4410 it’s a new model of tablet PC from Fujitsu. It’s not such a great model and it’s certainly not a must have one but this tablet PC works fine both for home usage or for business.

The design is good.It doesn’t have rough edges like most of the business models and it has a nice appearance. The worst thing at this design is that you can fell some flex while you will carry it around, but that won’t be such a big problem.

Because good thing always come last, the best thing at this design is that Fuji offers easy access to the RAM, hard drive, cooling fan and other hardware components of the tablet. So it’s an easy to repair one because you won’t have to work hard to disassemble it to get to the main components.

It only weights 3.9 in the basic configuration and the dimensions are 11.69″ x 9.17″ x 1.49″.

The display is good enough.Rotating the screen at 360 angle and you won’t get any distortions and the colors will look great. That is because this display is made to work outdoors in the natural light. The touchscreen is very responsive and it recognizes multiple fingers. But despite all of this your fingers will slide hard enough on the screen until oil from your skin spreads around it.

We can’t say many good things about the speakers compared with the display. They are average compared to a business or a home notebook.

The device works with an intel 5200AGN and has a Fujistu 5400rpm Hard drive with 250GB storage space. It comes with 2gb of RAM (2gb X 1).

The keyboard isn’t that great either. It gives the typer a nice, comfortable feeling but only when typing with light pressure. The left side is the worst because you get the least physical support.Under the left side is the optical drive so if you type hard enough you can actually feel it.

So this is a rather average tablet PC then a high performance one.

It is sad that ProBook 5310m is a stylish business notebook.Hp promises performance, battery life, and value inside a 13 inch notebook.

The ProBook 5310m is designed for medium businesses. It’s build so that it has a cheap price and great performance.
The new ProBook succeeds where previous ProBooks failed because those notebooks sacrificed quality and design just to create a low-price notebook, but the result was not so good.
Still it has an industrial-looking exterior.
It has no built-in DVD or Blu-ray drive. That will affect some business buyers that like watch DVDs during flights or other business trips.

The outer shell of the screen is made out of aluminum. It is not recomanded to sit on this notebook but it can support a dozen or so of heavy books. So it will survive enything that a business traveler can throw at it.
But still if the laptop gets dropped accidently , it features a new standard hard drive shock protection device that will prevent your harddisk from breaking appart.

The new design made easy to access the RAM, hard disk and other components.
If you want to buy the 5310m at a reasonable price the only way is that you buy a pre-configured model.

The screen is 13.3” and has a display with a 16:9 ratio and anti-glare.When using the notebook indoors it is best to leave the brightness set to between 50-70%.
You will get some color shift after you get past 75 degrees off center but the horizontal viewing angles are good enough.

The built-in speakers are not so good. The audio sounds at maximum volume sound distorted.
The headphones work well and there is no static or other noise.

The keys are flat and have a nice texture when as the spacing between the keys is big enough and it offers a lot of comfort. The noise when typing is not so loud and it doesn’t disturbs and the depth of each key is excellent.Overall the key board offered by HP on thin notebook is great and wonderful to use.

The touch screen works exactly as it should an it’s very responsive. The texture and the cheap material of the touch pad will develop wear in time. The buttons are almost the right size and they have almost the right depth when pressed.

The Intel Core 2 Duo P9300 processor, clocking in at 2.26GHz and Intel integrated graphics hive the ProBook an incredible level of performance without losing too much battery life.
The A 320GB 7200RPM hard drive helps the applications load without much lag.
The 5310m has enough power to handle Microsoft Office or even very basic video work.

The machine remains cool and very quiet in normal use.The exhaust fan wasn’t audible even when running high performance applications.

It is a thin and light laptop, based on Intel’s ultra-low voltage processor and Windows 7 operating system.

It only weights 5,3 lbs and it’s 1’’ thin. First models feature Intel Core 2 Duo ULV CPUs at 1.3GHz or 1.4GHz, the Intel GMA 4500MHD integrated or the ATI Radeon HD 4330 512MB dedicated graphics, 3GB or 4GB of DDR3 memory, a 250GB or 320GB hard drive, a DVD burner, and a six-cell battery for “up to 6 hours” of run time. According to a product page at Lenovo.com, the 15.6″ display has a resolution of 1366×768 pixels and uses LED backlight.

It has a 1,3 mp webcam, a multi-touch trackpad, Dolby surround sound, WiFi N and WiMAX wireless connections, Bluetooth, an HDMI port, and a fingerprint reader.
