AT&T CEO Mobility and Consumer Markets Ralph de la Vega said, “When Microsoft first showed us Windows Phone 7, we knew it was going to be a winner,” and that, “It was different than anything we’ve seen.”

Also in partnership with Microsoft will be Samsung, LG and HTC who will make the device to run the new smartphone software.

Though many more will come, Samsung will lead the pack with their “Focus” on November 8, while the LG’s “Quantum” and HTC’s “Surround” will be released in time for holiday purchases. All three will be priced at $199.99.

One of the most significant innovations of the Window Phone 7 will be what Microsoft calls the “Hubs.” Rather than flat screen offering a grid of small icon applications, services will be grouped in large, dynamic tiles Microsoft anticipates will be intuitive for users and easily navigated.

The “People Hub,” that will track updates across a user’s contact list. Camera will be accessed almost instantly and Xbox Live can take on the go. OneNote automatically syncs to the cloud with Office Live.

Ballmer said, “Microsoft and its partners are delivering a different kind of mobile phone and experience–one that makes everyday tasks faster be getting more done in fewer steps and providing timely information in a ‘glance and go’ format.”

LG GX500 Specs

It has a 3″ 240X400px display with touch-screen. It is well equipped for a dual-sim and it also has support for WiFi. As for the design, it looks like a normal touch screen phone. Also it is not that big, it only has 109 x 53 x 13mm and weight about 118 grams.

As applications, Lg said that it has a lot of network support applications for fast connection with the social networking. Talking about applications, in the multi-media section you have a 3mpx camera with QVGA recording mode. You also have a FM radio and a multimedia player that will come in handy. Talking about social networking, the phone uses Opera mini as web-browser and it also includes a e-mail client.

The phone is powered by a 1500 mAh battery that can power your phone for 6 hours talk time and 16 hours stand by.
As far as I know the phone will be released in Eastern Europe next month.

LG GS500 Specs

Lg has not shared full details of LG GS500 specs but we know that it has a 3mgpx cam a 240X400 touchscreen display that works ok outdoors and indoors. It will also feature a bluetooth and it will support a microSD card. It has 3G support and FM radio. We also do not know so much about the applications but we know that it will have some applications and connectivity for social networks like twitter, facebook and other.

Size and weight of LG GS500 are a mystery by now, but LG do say that the phone will be released in the early March. Battery life is not mentioned yet, but we will have more info in short time about the LG GS500 specs.
