It has the latest Intel Core i3/i5 series processors that replaces the old Core 2 Duo used in the last model. The screen has 17.3 inch and offers a resolution of 1600X900 px. It is also available with an edge-to-edge infinity glass to provide frameless look. A good thing added to the new model.

A surprising thing at this laptop is the configuration taking into account the price. Besides the processor it comes with a Nvidia GeForce G105M of 512mb or GeForce GT320M 1GB dedicated graphics. The Ram memory is also big, up to 8GB of DDR3.It has dual hard drives or solid state drvie, the configuration offers maximum 1TB of space. Along with all of this you have a DVD-writer, Blu-Ray combo drive or Blu-Ray burner and optionally you can get a built-in HDTV Hybrid TV tuner.A great feture if you like watching TV in hd.

If you buy it on the HP’s online store you get other things with it like a microphone, Altec Lansing stereo speakers, WiFi,Ethernet LAN, optional Bluetooth,optional modem, HDMI output,5 in 1 media card reader.

The machine comes in two colors espresso black or moonlight white.If you prefer other colors you will have to get used to those two.

The battery life is quite good, when it is fully charged you have 4.7 hours of work time.The battery is a 8 cell battery type.
